2017 ITTF World Table Tennis Championships Men’s singles: The Story so far up to day 6!

What an incredible start to the 2017 World Table Tennis Championships! We’ve already had some electrifying matches, huge upsets, and records broken. Perhaps the biggest shock coming in the form of 13 year old Japanese wonder kid Tomokazu Harimoto. With an almost comfortable 4-1 win over his compatriot and world number 6 Jun Mizutani. Since then he has gone onto beat Lubomir Pistej making him the youngest ever player to reach the quarter finals of the World Table Tennis Championships. He will face the winner of Xu Xin and 20 year old Chinese sensation Gaoyuan Lin, which is to be played tomorrow.
